Following a competitive application process, we’re delighted to announce award of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund amounting to nearly £400,000 to develop the work we do with vulnerable communities across Lancashire.

Commissioned in 2015 by Lancashire County Council Public Health to support individuals with experience of substance or alcohol misuse, we’ve grown significantly, working with partners and developing the reach of our services to help people facing a range of challenges.

This is achieved through positive peer associations and supporting personal development through wellbeing improvements and engagement in wider activities including training, volunteering and creating sustainable community projects.

We’re truly grateful to the fund and the millions of ordinary people who through their Lotto contributions enable organisations like ours to grow-helping their local communities to thrive.

This rounds off a fabulous year for Red Rose Recovery having also received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service!
